MIPS 2011, the 17th Moscow International Protection, Security and Fire Safety Exhibition, took place on 26-29 April. This year, MIPS has brought together the largest number of exhibitors in its history: over 400 companies from 23 countries exhibited their products in an area of 20,000m². This is 27% more than last year, both for the number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition, which this year has taken up two pavilions and the outdoor area of Expocentre.
MIPS is the most representative international business event in the security industry in Russia and the CIS. The exhibition presents all the industry leaders, with foreign manufacturers accounting for 30% of the exhibitors. The United Kingdom, Germany, China and Taiwan are participating with national group stands. Russian exhibitors have significantly increased their presence.

SPC “Omega-microdesign” also presented its projects and modernized range of products for the perimeter protection to the MIPS exhibition visitors. Our exposition was visited by representatives of business structures and commercial organizations, specialized in objects and territories security. Installers, designers, representatives of trading houses, training centers, Research Institutes, state structures were also interested in the latest developments of our company.

New modifications of alarm annunciators were showcased at our exposition. Radio-wave detectors of “Prizma 2” series, created at the basis of a new patented detection method, have attracted our visitors' attention. Wire-wave detectors of “Impuls” series also didn’t go unnoticed.
